Pepperoni Pizza


Ok, UFG fans! It's that time between holidays, where you detox from one, to get ready for the other.  Now's the time to really go through this blog and plan some healthy meals! 

FACT: I love pizza.  Love.  Like....love.  I'm not sure I've ever met someone who doesn't.
FACT:  Pizza is probably one of the worst foods for you.

Don't worry.  I've UnFatty Gaby'd it.  Using whole wheat dough from Trader Joes (99 cents and makes 2 personal pizzas!) and turkey pepperoni, you'll save a ton of calories, without sacrificing on the taste!   Recipe after the jump!





Ingredients:
5 oz Trader Joes Whole Wheat Pizza dough
1/4 cut fat free mozzarella
6 turkey pepperoni
1 tbsp Pecorino Romano or Parmasean
1/3 cup of red sauce


Preheat over to 425 degrees.  Roll out dough very thin, enough to fit a 9 inch pie plate (sprayed with cooking spray).  Top with sauce, cheese, pepperoni and then sprinkle on pecorino.
Bake for about 8 minutes. 
Will make the equivalent of about 2 slices of pizza.
