Buffalo Chicken Burgers
It's only recently that buffalo wings have become one of my top 5 favorite foods. As a kid, I hated spicy food. Even ground black pepper was too much. Now, I crave it. Especially wings!
Insider Tip: The best thing on the Buffalo Wild Wings menu? Naked Tenders with medium buffalo sauce and substitute buffalo chips for fries! Pair it with one light beer, and you've got a night out that won't kill your waistline!
If you haven't noticed, I'm obsessed with anything that can put into burger form - and ground chicken is SO versatile (and I clearly stock up when its on sale)! These Buffalo Chicken Burgers really kick the craving for wings, and is far cheaper than going out to Buffalo Wild Wings! The mailman and I eat it with celery of course, and you could even serve them with some baked sweet potato fries! Enjoy!
1lb ground chicken
2 tbsp fat free blue cheese dressing
2 tbsp hot sauce
1/4 cup panko bread crumbs
2 Laughing Cow Blue Cheese wedges
4 100 calorie slim buns
Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Mix together chicken, dressing, hot sauce, and panko. Separate into 4 equal size burgers, about 4oz each. Brown the burgers on each side over medium heat in an oven safe skillet - about 5 mins per side.
Drizzle more hot sauce over each burger (it's 0 calories!) and then transfer to oven. Bake for about 15 mins. Serve on slim buns with half of Laughing Cow Blue Cheese wedge smeared on top.
